What is model photography?

Model photography is when there is a person in the photo to help portray the object being represented by the organization.

Model photography is widely used in fashion to portray the clothing brand of a company. It is extremely beneficial because it gives a real-life feel for the product that a mannequin or a hanger isn’t able to accomplish. Model photography gives the viewer a better idea and vision of how the product looks.
Model photography requires a model, a setup space and great lighting. This type of photography allows for a variety of ways to present the product through different poses and environments the model is photographed in. The photos are then edited to the desired size, lighting and any other adjustments necessary to bring the product to life. The main purpose of model photography is to give the product more character to allow the viewer to better visualize the products benefits.
